PERMANENT & SEMITRANSPARENT HAIR COLOR, HIGHLIGHTING & LOW-LIGHTING

Lowlights and highlights are essentially partial coloring techniques, adding a different shade to certain strands of hair so your hair ends up having depth, texture and various complementary hues.

Lowlights: involve darkening strands of hair by using colors that are darker than your current color.

Highlights: uses products that lighten your hair beyond your existing colors. 

Semi Permanent Hair Coloring – has larger molecules than permanent dyes. These dyes only partially penetrate the hair shaft. For this reason, the color will survive repeated washing, typically 4–5 shampoos or a few weeks

Permanent Hair Coloring: If you want a more dramatic change (two or more shades darker or lighter than your natural hair color), a permanent color is a better option than the other two  listed above. This option offers more longevity than semi-permanent hair coloring.

We have over 30 years of experience selling and renting Tuxedos & Accessories from Jim’s Formal Wear to customers in Central Illinois. We started renting/ selling them in the late 1980’s. We enjoy being able to offer this service to the public in addition to our many other services. We have a elegant selection of Men’s Formal Wear available.
